Cochran – Almedia Jarrell Wimberly, age 90, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Royal Care Assisted Living. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Almedia was born in Bleckley County on January 7, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Hobbs Jarrell and was preceded in death by her husband, James P. "Bo" Wimberly and her children, David Hon and Dianne Lehlbach. Mrs. Almedia was a homemaker and had worked at L&H Shirt Factory and Southern Bell. She was a member of Longstreet Methodist Church.

Survivors are her son, Butch (Carla) Hon of Cochran: 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister Francis (Millard) English of Cochran and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Friday at Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
