Cochran – Amelita "Millete" Maynard, age 71, died Saturday, October 10, 2020, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Millete, born in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, had lived in Cochran since 1975. She was the wife of the late Larry N. Maynard. Milette was a Registered Nurse and had worked at Lithonia Lighting Company, Bleckley Memorial Hospital, Bryant Nursing Center and Houston Medical Center.

Survivors are her children, Robert (Molly) Maynard of Bonaire and Christina (Cole) Payne of Cochran; step-son, Neil (Andy) Brennan of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Layla and Amelia Payne of Cochran; her sister, Nida L. Garcia of Philippines; her sister-in-law, Wanda (Steve) Schroeder of Macon; several nieces and nephews including Lucas Schroeder of Macon, Amanda Schroeder (Keenan) White of Dublin and Elyssa Schroeder of Athens.

The family is at 190 Drew Abney Circle, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
