Warner Robins – Angele "Angie" Fortier Wilkerson, age 63, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the Cochran City Auditorium, 102 N. Second St., Cochran, GA 31014.

Angele, born in Alexandria, LA, had lived in Eastman, Cochran and Dublin before moving to Warner Robins. She was the daughter of the late James B. Fortier and Shirley Ann Warren Fortier and was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Ernest Fortier and Richard Leon Fortier and her brother-in-law, Rex Roger Meyer. Angele was retired from the Cochran Police Department and studied Criminal Justice at Middle Georgia College. She was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, Rolling Thunder, Sidecar Adventures, Georgia Run for the Fallen and the American Legion.

Survivors are her husband, James M. Wilkerson of Warner Robins; her children, Shannon (Anthony Lawell) Posey of Bonaire, Christy (Ben) Faulk of Eastman, Fran (David) Martin of Augusta and James (Blue) Fortier of Panama City, FL; her sister, Vickie Meyer of St. Augustine, FL; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Saturday at the Cochran City Auditorium.
