Cochran – Ann Dennard Livingston, age 84, left this earth to be with her Lord on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Bryant Nursing Center after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Limestone Memorial Gardens next to her late husband of 45 years who died in 1999.
Mrs. Livingston had lived most of her life in Bleckley County and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Melancton and Verna King Dennard. She was the wife of the late Winston "Cotton" Livingston and was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Ida Hill and Jean Williams and her brother, Charles Dennard. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base, attended elementary school in the Cary Community and was an honor graduate from Cochran High School, class of 1954, where she was a member of the Beta Club. Mrs. Ann was a former member of the Cochran Woman's Club and a member of Limestone Baptist Church and had taught Sunday School. She loved working outside and gardening.
Survivors are her children, Jessie (David) Smith and Andy Livingston of Cochran and Elizabeth (W.H.) Peacock of Chauncey; her grandchildren, Brandi (Chris) Jernander, Amanda (Jason) Finch, Jason (Kela) Collins, MacKennen (Jennifer) Collins and Amanda (Ritchie) Ray; her great grandchildren; her sister, Gay (John) Kirkpatrick of Cochran; her brother, Benjamin (Ruth) Dennard of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.
The family is at 170 Bass-Mullis-Smith Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
