Cochran – Anna V. Collins, age 92, died Sunday, August 26, 2018, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends after the service.

Mrs. Collins, born in Utrecht, Holland, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Adrian and Elizabeth Van Der Linden and the wife of the late Henry S. Collins. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and had worked at L&H Shirt Factory. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cochran.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary (John) Thompson of Leesburg; step-daughter, Cindy Dennard; companion, Sandy Payne of Cochran; grandchildren, Michael, Michelle and Charlotte; great grandchildren, Nathan, Andy, Isabelle and Christian.
