Milledgeville, Georgia - Barbara Potter Bryant, age 75, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Family will meet at Mathis Funeral Home in Cochran, Georgia at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Friends are asked to gather with family for graveside services at 11:00 am at Buckhorn Methodist Church, 2293 Chicken Road, Dudley, Georgia.

Barbara grew up in Chester, Georgia. After marrying, Barbara and her husband spent most of their time in Dublin, Georgia raising their children. Barbara spent many years working as a paralegal and serving others while an active member of the Pilot's Club. After retirement she and her husband moved to Milledgeville, Georgia where she was a member of Haddock Baptist Church. Barbara could be found most days working in her beautiful yard and sitting on her back porch.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Bryant, her parents, James and Christine Skelton, and her sister-n-law, Patsy Potter. Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Troy Bryant (Susan) and Eric Bryant (Ann). Barbara has three grandchildren, Madison Bryant, Michala Bryant, and Michael Thomason. She has one sister, Cathy May (Neal), and one brother, Jerry Potter. She, also, has several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Barbara's special caregiver, Freda Pounds, for her dedication and compassionate care.

The family may be greeted by friends after the service on Tuesday at Buckhorn Methodist Church Cemetery.
