Cochran – Barbara Little Stokes, age 76, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Barbara, a lifelong resident of Cochran, was the daughter of the late Arthur Little and was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Stokes. She was a bookkeeper and 1965 graduate of Cochran High School. She had attended Limestone Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Shannon (Danny) Churchwell of Cochran and Dane (Jennifer) Stokes of Dublin; her grandchildren, John Paul (Heather) Sheppard, Erica Stokes, Chris Anne (Seth) Bloodworth, Stanley Sheppard, Holden Stokes, Bailey Graham and Dawson Churchwell; seven great grandchildren; her mother, Rose Mullis Little of Cochran; her brother, Larry (Susan) Little of Dublin; several nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Limestone Baptist Church, 874 GA Highway 257, Cochran, GA or Gideons International, PO Box 95, Cochran, GA 31014.

The family is at 158 North Lakeshore Dr., Cochran and will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
