Milan – Belvie Jean Fordham Howell, age 66, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in the Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman. Private memorial services will be held Friday, July 31, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Belvie Jean, born in Eastman, had lived most of her life in Cochran before moving to Milan. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Betty Jean Roland Fordham and was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Howell and her brother Donnie Ray Fordham. She was a caregiver and homemaker.

Survivors are her children, Jeffery Bass of Bonaire, Joseph Howell and Brian (Christy Smith) Howell of Milan; grandchildren, Sydney Bass, Aliena Stewart and Joseph Pollard; her sister, Phyllis Rozier of Uvalda; half-sister, Patsy (Dan) Thomas of Tupelo, MS; half-brother, Tony Cannon of Crawford County; several nieces and nephews.
