Cochran – Bennett C. Kimberly, age 79, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at his residence. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Kimberly, born in Cochran, had lived most of his life in California before moving back to Cochran in 2005. He was the son of the late Marion Lawrence, Sr. and Lois Graham Kimberly and was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Darsey Kimberly. He was retired from Caterpillar and a US Army veteran. Mr. Bennett was a member and former music director at Roddy Baptist Church.

Survivors are his children, Debra (Brad) Daniel and Clark (Angie) Knighton of Cochran; grandchildren, Angela Jones, Benji Knighton and Bailey Knighton of Cochran and Ryan (Allie) Daniel of Hanahan, SC; great grandchildren, Marli Jones, Henli Jones, Joey Daniel and Taylor Daniel; his sister, Betty Jean King of Americus; several nieces and nephews.
