Dublin – Bertha K. Register, age 94, went to be with her Lord and see her mama and dog Lucy on Friday, November 13, 2020. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dublin Memorial Gardens in Dublin.

Mrs. Bertha, born in Roddy, had lived in Dublin since 1971 and was the daughter of the late George Henry and Edna Mixon Kirkpatrick. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rufus Harrington and Bill Register, her son, Wayne Harrington, her sisters, Clyde K. Graham and Thelma K. Walker, her brothers, Lewis Kirkpatrick, B.J. Kirkpatrick and Horace Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Bertha was a retired LPN from Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin and had worked at Laurens County Memorial Hospital. She was a good dancer, loved to sing, always worried about your comfort and enjoyed working and helping other people. She was a longtime member of Bethsaida Baptist Church in Laurens County.

Survivors are her son, Mike (Kathy) Harrington of Dublin; her step-daughter, Sharon (Steve) Kelley of Dublin; her grandchildren, Janet (Phil) Johnson, Rebecca Harrington, Josh Harrington and Corinne (Robert) Supernor; great grandchildren, Ava Baird, Pearl and Jude Johnson; her brothers, Frank Kirkpatrick and Owen (Merle) Kirkpatrick of Roddy; lots of wonderful nieces and nephews.

The family is at 2105 Highway 441 South, Dublin and will greet friends one hour before the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
