Cochran – Betty Churchwell Arnold, age 84, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Betty was born and had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late C.B. Sr. and Lillie Jewell Hill Churchwell. She was preceded in death by her great grandchild, Jacklyn Carlson, her daughter-in-law, Debbie Roland, her sister Christine Tucker, her brothers, C.B. "Junior Churchwell, Jr. and Cliff Churchwell. Betty was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and the Believers Sunday School Class. "Little Betty", as her grandchildren called her, loved all of her family very much.

Survivors are her husband, Lee Arnold of Cochran; her children, Keith Roland, Randy Roland and Pam Jackson all of Cochran, Tracy (Tom Fry) Arnold of Winterville and Trent (Jan) Arnold of Crawford; her grandchildren, Shannon, Kayse, Shay, Patrick, Devan, Brandon, Dusty and Jamie; ten great grandchildren; her sisters, Patricia (Charlie) Phillips and Peggy Parten of Cochran; her brothers, James R. "Doc" Churchwell and Donnie (Delores) Churchwell of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 884 GA Highway 87 North, Cochran and will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
