Dexter – Betty Sue Thompson Hobbs, age 71, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, in the Dublinair Health and Rehab in Dublin. Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Betty Sue was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Virgil O. and Mabel Elizabeth Bridges Thompson and was preceded in death by her grandson, Cason Floyd and her brothers Demmie Thompson, Earl Thompson and Randy Thompson. Betty Sue attended Cochran High School.

Survivors are her daughters, Tina Rozier of Eastman and Casey Hobbs of Cochran; four grandchildren; her sisters, Beth Thompson of Cochran and Brenda (Royce) Alligood of Dexter; her brothers, Glynn (Suellen) Thompson of Eastman, Doyle (Andrea) Thompson of Greenville, SC and Donnie (Mary) Thompson of Dexter; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Saturday at Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
