Cochran – Bobbie Reeves Powell, age 92, died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Green Meadows Personal Care Home. Private funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. at Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Powell was a life long resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Effie Fordham Reeves and Marie Dixon Reeves. She was the wife of the late Rev. Elbert Powell and was preceded in death by her five siblings. She was a homemaker, former employee at L&H Shirt Factory and a graduate of Cochran High School. Mrs. Bobbie was a member of Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons, Kenneth (Sandra) Powell and Donnie Powell of Cochran, David (Linda) Powell of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Stacey (Cliff Moore) Evans, Bob (Amilee) Powell, Bert (Debra) Powell, Brandi (Andy) Thompson, and Brent (Kimberly) Powell; eleven great grandchildren; her sister, Sandra (Harvey) Wynne of Cochran; her brothers, Neil (Gloria) Reeves of Cochran and Charles Reeves of Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews.

The Powell family thanks the staff at Green Meadows for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Bobbie.
