Dudley – Bobby Gilbert, age 67, died Monday, January 4, 2021, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County.

Bobby had lived most of his life in Dodge County and was the son of the late D.C. and Josie Fordham Gilbert. He was retired from J.P Stevens Textile Mill in Dublin and Gilman Paper Company in Dudley. Bobby attended Cochran High School.

Survivors are his brothers, Randy (Barbara) Gilbert of Dudley and Roger (Rosemarie) Gilbert of Lawton, OK; his niece, Mandy Gilbert; his nephew, Adam Gilbert; several cousins including Johnny and Pam Gilbert of Chester.

The family will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Trail Branch Cemetery.
