Cochran – Bobby Reynolds, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at McRae Manor in McRae. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Mathis Funeral Home.

Born on September 11, 1961, in Hawkinsville, Bobby spent most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late R.J. Reynolds and Geraldine Mathis Reynolds Purser. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Reynolds; his uncle Cecil Reynolds; and his aunt Joyce Mathis.

Bobby dedicated over 40 years to a career as a truck driver, working across various roles including local routes, dump trucks, logging, and long-haul trucking before retiring. Outside of work, he had a passion for riding motorcycles and cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Reynolds of Cochran; his children, Bradd (Kim) Rowland of Chester, Michael (Mandy) Rowland of Chester, and Tonia (Kevin) Clouse of Cochran; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his aunt Evelyn M. Evans of Douglas; his uncles, Harbot A. "Hardhead" (Carolyn) Mathis of Dublin and Robert (Penny) Mathis of McRae; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bobby will be remembered fondly by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
