Cochran - Bonnijean "Bonnie" Daniels Bollinger, age 82, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.  The family will visit with friends on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Cochran, followed by Funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Bonnie was born in the Midway District of Hawkinsville, Georgia on July 18, 1942, to her parents, the late John Wesley Daniels, Sr. and Johnnie Lancaster Daniels.  She graduated from Hawkinsville High School and attended Middle Georgia College.  Bonnie had a long, distinguished career working at Robins Air Force Base. After retiring from Robins Air Force Base, she opened her own consulting business for many years.  Bonnie taught Sunday School to an adult ladies class for many years at First Baptist Church of Cochran and was an active member of the choir.

Bonnie and her husband, John Barkwell Bollinger, spent many years traveling around the United States and Europe.  She loved travelling to the mountains to see the Rhododendron and Mountain Laurel in bloom. Bonnie built an enduring legacy of developing relationships and creating memories by bringing people together for fun, food and fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, John Wesley Daniels, Larry Daniels, and Eloise Daniels Brown.

She is survived by her husband, John Barkwell Bollinger, her son, Johnny Bollinger, of Cochran, GA, her daughters, Alisa (Barry White) Bollinger of Saint Marys, GA and Celeste (Mark) Stroud of Marietta, GA.,  her five grandchildren Taylor (Deidra) Tompkins, Kasey Lawson and Bailey Bollinger, of Cochran, Georgia, and Dustin (Grayson Webb) Price, of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Samantha (Seth) Barrett of Cartersville, Georgia.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, and many loving friends and neighbors.

The family would like to acknowledge their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Georgia Hospice Care of Dublin, Georgia and Bonnie's friends, neighbors, Sunday School Class members and Choir members.
