Cochran – Carmen J. Stanley, age 76, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Carmen was born on July 29, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late George C. and Mary Dixon Jarrett and was preceded in death by her sister Areta "Dee Dee" Townsend. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard, on March 31, 1967, and the two had lived in Colorado, Maine and Florida before moving to Cochran over a year ago. She was a graduate of Nazarene Bible College where she earned a bachelor's degree in Christian Education.  She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Cochran.

Survivors are her husband of 55 years, Richard Stanley of Cochran; her children, Melissa (Ritchie) Cachin of Jacksonville, Fl, Treasure Lynn (Greg) Callabretta of San Mateo, CA and Richard II "Ritchie" (Michelle) Stanley of Washington State; her grandchildren, Noah, Cameron, Destiny, Torye, Sebastian, Briana and Seth; many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
