Perry – Carol Adkins Beck, age 88, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Summerhill Senior Living Community in Perry. Graveside funeral services will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Carol was born on November 1, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Ruth Dean Adkins and was preceded in death by her son, Terry Beck and her brother, Wayne Adkins. Carol married the love of her life Mr. Oliver Beck on December 1,1951. She was a homemaker and helped raise 2 sons, Terry and David. Mrs. Carol loved her family especially her grandchildren. On Friday, December 1, 2023, Mrs. Carol and Mr. Oliver celebrated their 72nd Wedding Anniversary.

Survivors are her husband of 72 years, Mr. Oliver Beck of Perry; her son, David (Lisa) Beck of Perry; her grandchildren, Brandi Beck Talton, Jason Beck, Justin Beck, Jennifer Beck Stacey, Brian Beck, Chris Cassady and Chanell West; 8 great-grandchildren including Livi Talton; her brother, Junior Adkins of North Carolina; her sister, Sandra (Kenneth) Powell of Cochran and several nieces and nephews.
