Cochran – Catherine Guyton, age 69, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Catherine was born on January 22, 1954 in Atlanta. She was the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Elizabeth Gene Hyatt Frazier and was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Frazier. She had worked at Burgess Flooring & Design Center and at Belks Department Store. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was an animal lover.

Survivors are her husband, Tommy Guyton of Cochran; her children, Sasha (Mike) Edge of Cochran, Daniel, Cody and Ivy Nicole; numerous grandchildren including, Ty and Riley; her sister Sandra J. Coffee and her "fur kids", Chewy and Tiffy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter or charity of your choice.

The family will greet friends after the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
