Cochran – Chad "Butch" Lawrence, age 49, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Chad was born in Warner Robins, GA. He was the son of the late Kathy Lawrence. An avid dirt track and NASCAR race enthusiast. A dedicated worker for J&M Backhoe services and jack of many trades.

His survivors are his sisters Alethia Marie Lawrence Keegal and Stephanie "Tina" Lawrence Allen, and his three nephews, Macinzie Keegal, William Allen, and Joshua Allen, Aunt Rhonda Ingram, and numerous cousins. In life, the family to you is not always related by blood in your veins. Chad was also survived by his chosen family son, Austin Phelps, and father, Jeff Grantham & the entire Grantham family.

In place of flowers, we ask that you donate to Ga Canine Rescue. We all know Chad's compassion went well beyond the people in our community. His love and compassion for animals was seen by all.
