Hawkinsville – Charles Daniel "Dan" Williams, age 55, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta. Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in Riverside Baptist Church in Hawkinsville.

Dan, born in Vienna, lived all of his life in Hawkinsville. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Williams. He had worked at Williams Flooring and was a member of the 16 ^th Georgia Company G "Jackson Rifles". He was a member and a deacon of Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Sheri Williams of Hawkinsville; his children, Tommy Shover and Faith (Kyle) Shipmen, both of Hawkinsville; grandchildren, Joyanna Shipman, Hunter Shipman and Baylee Irby; great grandson, Finn Clements; his mother, Cornelia Williams of Hawkinsville; his brothers, Frank Williams, Ted (Lynne) Williams and Guy Williams, all of Hawkinsville; his father-in-law, Emory McKinley of Hawkinsville; brother-in-law, Curt (Stephanie) McKinley of Hawkinsville; sister-in-law, Tana Hutchings of Hawkinsville and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service, Sunday, at Riverside Baptist Church in Hawkinsville.
