Jacksonville, FL – Charles Kitchens, age 74, died Sunday, April 14, 2019, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park at 2:00 P.M.

Charles was born and had lived most of his life in Cochran before moving to Jacksonville 13 years ago. He was the son of the late William Lark, Sr. and Thelma Lee Mixon Kitchens and was preceded in death by his son Tony Kitchens and his brothers, W.L Kitchens, Jr. and Newell I. Kitchens. He was a truck driver and a US Air Force Veteran.

Survivors are his wife, Sybil Kitchens of Jacksonville, FL; his son, Scott Kitchens of Jacksonville, FL; his granddaughter Hannah Kitchens; sisters, Lucy Floyd and Edna Roberts of Macon and Doris (Ray) Morgan of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 124 Kitchens Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
