Cochran – Cheryl McDaniel Sheffield, age 69, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, in the Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in Roddy Community Cemetery. The family will greet friends after the service Thursday at the cemetery.

Cheryl, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Farris and Willie Lou Arnold McDaniel and preceded in death by her husband, Benny Sheffield, her granddaughter, Jadia Rozier and her companion Charles Carr. Cheryl was a homemaker and Baptist.

Survivors are her daughter, Denise (Mike) Adams of Nahunta; her granddaughter, Kayla Rozier of Cochran; her brother, Buddy (Jenny) McDaniel of Cochran; her sisters, Elaine Allen, Cindy McDaniel and Hazel Bryant all of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 151 Browning Drive, Cochran.
