Cochran – Christine Hinson Allen, age 98, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Private graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late Chapman and Madie Powell Hinson. She was the wife of the late Jacob C. Allen and was preceded in death by her daughter Helen Allen Churchwell and her twin sister Geraldine Hinson Griffin. Mrs. Christine was retired from L&H Shirt Factory and attended Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Roger (Kay) Allen, Joe (Jean) Allen and Bonnie (Wayne) Horne of Cochran; her sister, Annie Walker of Forsyth; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
