Cochran – Christine Churchwell Tucker, age 86, died Monday, August 30, 2021, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Christine was a lifelong resident of Cochran. She was the daughter of the late C.B., Sr. and Lillie Jewel Hill Churchwell and was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Phillip Tucker, her brothers , C.B. "Junior" Churchwell, Jr. and Clifford H. Churchwell. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a member of Christ Chapel Church in Cochran.

Survivors are her children, Cheryl (Kenny) Thomas and Marty (Teresa) Tucker both of Cochran; her grandchildren, Phillip (Allison) Thomas of Vincennes, IN, Tyler (Maggie) Tucker of Roswell and  Teri Lynn (Keith) Flury of Danville; great grandchildren, Shana (Tyler) Flury and Alexander Phillip Thomas; her special lifelong friend, Dennard Day of Taylor County; her sisters, Peggy Partin, Betty (Lee) Arnold and Patricia (Charlie) Phillips all of Cochran; her brothers, James R. "Doc" Churchwell and Donnie (Delores) Churchwell both of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
