Cochran – Craig Rycroft, age 52, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.

Craig, born in Germany, had lived in Cochran since 1977 before moving to East Bend, NC in 2005. He was an employee at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, a 1988 graduate of Bleckley County High School and a graduate of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Craig was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, brother and friend. He loved hot rods, his truck, fishing and his bass boat. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Cochran and Collide Church in Yadkinville, NC.

Survivors are his wife, LaDawn B. Rycroft of Cochran; his daughter, Macey Rycroft of Cochran; his parents, Larry and Ann Rycroft of Cochran; his brothers, Tracy (Betsy) Rycroft and Danny (Shelly) Rycroft all of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 313 GA Highway 87 Bypass North, Cochran and will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
