Cochran – Danny H. Register, age 74, died Monday, October 4, 2021, in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens County.

Danny, born in Laurens County, had lived in Cadwell before moving to Cochran. He was the son of the late Ira James and Ollie Mae Knight Register. He was a retired mill wright carpenter for Union Hiring Hall. Danny was a member of Cary Hunting Club and loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors are his children, Dee (Terry) Ware and Shannon (Lee) Norfleet both of Cochran and Danielle Register of Amelia Island, FL; his brother, Ross Register of Cochran; his sister, Shirley Ellison of Byron; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
