Cochran - David Monroe Reyes, age 27, died unexpectedly, Sunday, April 10, 2022, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

David was born on October 13, 1994 in Hawkinsville. He was a 2013 graduate of Bleckley County High School and had worked for Academy Sport + Outdoors.

Survivors are his wife, Scarlett Reyes of Cochran; his children, Kaylee, Jade and Jimmy Reyes of Cochran; his mother, Deborah Walkinsun of Cochran; his father, John (Jenny) Reyes, Jr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his siblings, Justin (Maggie) Reyes, Briana (Cody Dennis) Reyes and Connor Walkinsun all of Cochran; his grandparents, Perry Dykes, Linda Garland and John Reyes, Sr.; his aunts, Pandora (Keith) Palmer, Gina Reyes and Shawntie Reyes; his uncle, Ray Terry and several cousins.

The family is at 255 Floyd NeSmith Rd and will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Mathis Funeral Home.
