Macon – Debbie Gilbert Collins, age 57, died Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Coliseum Hospital in Macon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home in Cochran. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Born in Macon, Mrs. Collins, spent her life in Chester. She was the daughter of the late Austine Dykes Gilbert, and was a manager at Family Dollar and Dollar General.

Survivors are her sons, Blake (Kasey) Collins of Milledgeville and Chad Collins of Chester; Father Burney Gilbert of Chester; sisters, Dianne (Randy) Rowland of Chester and Brenda (Donald) Sanders of Cochran; significant other Terry Scarbrough; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 2189 Chester-Cochran Highway and will greet friends one hour before the service.
