Cochran – Diane Y. Mullis, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends after the service Friday at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Diane, born in Nashville, TN, was the daughter of the late Joseph Vance, Sr. and Ruby Pettis Young. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Jack Mullis, her siblings, Joseph Vance Young, Jr., Ralph Young, Elizabeth Neff, Jewell Breeden and son-in-law, Rick Haupt. Mrs. Diane was retired from Cochran Eye Center. She loved cooking and spending time with family and friends, eating at new places, fishing and working in her flowers. She was a member of Limestone Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Tim (Beth) Hinson and Tina (Roger Bunn) Haupt all of Cochran and Robert (Summer) Mullis of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Clay (Erika) Cavanah, Erica Haupt, Ricky Haupt, Tyler (Lindsay) Hinson, Savannah Mullis, Logan Mullis and Lauren Mullis; her great grandchildren, Ryner Hinson, Olin Hinson and Tobias Hinson; her brother, John (Carol) Neff; her sister, Patty (Bill) Roth; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 1094 Barlow Road, Cochran.
