Cochran – Dianne Coody Brown, age 75, died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Dianne, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Clarence "Shack" and Ruby Holder Coody and was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Brown and her brother, Harlow Coody. Dianne was elected Bleckley County Clerk of Court in 1980 and served consecutively before retiring in 2016. She had previously served as Bleckley County Deputy Clerk of Court for several years. Dianne was a 1964 graduate of Hawkinsville High School and a member of Cochran First Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Wyndell E. "Buddy" Brown of Cochran; her daughter, Jenny (Jeff) Brooks of Cochran; her grandchildren, Anna Claire Evans and Eli Evans both of Cochran; her nephews, Reb (Donna) Cody, Roger Coody and Kris (Angie) Coody all of Cochran.

The family is at 144 Brownsville Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Saturday at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
