Cochran – Donald R. Filion, age 74, died Saturday, November 2, 2019, in Navicent Health in Macon. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be at 4:00 P.M. at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins with military honors.

Mr. Filion, born in Plattsburgh, NY, had lived in Warner Robins before moving to Cochran 10 years ago. He was the son of the late Emile and Georgiana Boucher Filion. He was a retired Tech Sergeant from the United States Air Force and retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dublin.

Survivors are his wife, June W. Filion of Cochran; children, Michael (Christa) Filion and Kelly Ane Filion of Cochran, Michele (Leroy) Struble of Farmington, NM; grandchildren, Damian (Dawn) Kelly, C.J. (Jessica) Sanders, Austin Alfaro-Lopez, Logan Filion, Karla Alfaro-Lopez and Tanner Filion; five great grandchildren.

The family is at 236 Canvasback Road, Cochran and will greet friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
