Cochran – Donnie "Big D" Ingram, age 68, passed away, Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Bryant Nursing and Rehab Center in Cochran. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Donnie, born in Loxley, AL, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Denzil Ray "Jim" and Cora Lee Devine Ingram. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Timothy, Elijah and Taylen and his sister, Kathy Ingram Lawrence. He was retired, after 25 years, from Purser Oil Company had worked at Howell Manufacturing and was a farmer. He attended Cochran High School and enjoyed fishing, racing and The Andy Griffith Show. Donnie loved his family and attended Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Rhonda Purser Ingram of Cochran; his daughter, Amy Ingram of Cochran; his grandchildren, Aliyah, Jalen, Kourtney and Kandace; great grandchildren, Zayden and Lanxston; nephew, Chad Lawrence of Cochran; nieces, Tina Allen and Marie Keegal; mother-in-law, Joann Purser of Cochran; brothers-in-law, Leon (Nona) Purser, Gary (Brenda) Purser and Danny (Janet) Purser all of Cochran; aunts, uncles, great nephews and cousins.

The family is at 297 Vernon Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Sunday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
