Cochran – Doris Mullis Barlow, age 86, died Friday, February 5, 2021, in Serenity Place in Dublin. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 2:30 P.M. in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County.
Mrs. Barlow, born in Dodge County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Sylvester "Vester" and Pauline Parker Mullis and the wife of the late Billy Austin Barlow. She was preceded in death by her son Ronald Lynn Barlow, her sisters, Carolyn Smith, Eleanor Ann Bryson, Wynelle Mullis and Barbara Sue Mullis and her brother, Charles Mullis. Mrs. Doris was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a member of Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are her children, Billy (Donna) Barlow of Cochran and Brenda Bryant of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Becky (Chris) Collins of Cochran, Matt (Amanda) Barlow of Thomasville, Michael Carr of Cochran, Adam (Victoria) Barlow and John (Madison) Carr both of Savannah; great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Bryn, Ava and Adelaide; her sisters, Charlene (Seaborn) Smith of Byron and Faye (Jimmy Floyd) Jones of Cochran; her brothers, Curtis Mullis of Warner Robins, Earl Mullis and S.M. "Buddy" (Barbara) Mullis both of Hawkinsville; several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Trail Branch Cemetery Fund, 1997 Rebie Road, Dudley, GA 31022.
The family will greet friends after the service Sunday at Trail Branch Church Cemetery.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and wear protective masks.
