Cochran – Dorothy Bell Taylor, age 91, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Bryant Nursing and Rehab Center in Cochran. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in Lizzie Bloomer Baptist Church in Pulaski County. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Dorothy, born in Houston County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Fannie Lawson Lane and was the wife of the late Frank Taylor. Mrs. Dorothy was retired form Jac-Arts Label Factory and a member of Lizzie Bloomer Baptist Church.

Survivors are her step-children, Joe Girtman of Chicago, IL, Shawn Girtman of Dublin and Tanya Marshall of Cochran; her sisters-in-law, Emily Harris of Cochran and Geneva Perry of Atlanta; her brothers-in-law, Charlie (Kathrine) Taylor and Nathan Taylor of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends one hour before the service Friday at Lizzie Bloomer Baptist Church.
