Cochran – Earl Dupree, age 79, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends after the service Thursday at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Earl, born in Macon, had lived in Hawkinsville before moving to Cochran 25 years ago. He was the son of the late Harold Ovest and Ethel Wainwright Dupree and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellen Broadnax Dupree, his sisters, Geraldine Kitchens of Tennessee and Ruth Womac of Macon. Earl was retired form Pulaski County Road Department and a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Survivors are his son, Earl Eugene (Linda Jo) Dupree of Eastman; his brother, Raymond Dupree of Macon; his sisters, Margaret Mimbs of Jones County and Betty Ann Walker of Byron; several nieces and nephews.
