St. Marys – Earl Allen Richards, age 52, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, in the Southeast Georgia Health System in St. Marys. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Allen had lived in Macon before moving to Cochran in 1980 and then to St. Marys in 2017. He was the son of the late John Franklin Richards and Joyce White Richards and was preceded in death by his brother David Richards. He was an industrial painter for Metson Marine Services in St. Marys and a graduate of Baldwin County High School.

Survivors are his children, Michael (Amber Foskey) Richards of McRae, Heather Ann (Paul) Williams of Warner Robins and Hannah Richards of Cochran; his brothers, Marlon (Amy) Richards of Eastman and Kenneth Richards of Augusta; his aunt, Joanne Still of Cartersville; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 12: 30 P.M. until time for the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
