Parkville, MD - Edward Theodore Carter, Sr., age 91, of Parkville, MD, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. Edward, originally from Wake Forest, NC, served in the United States Marine Corps and worked for US Air as a truck mechanic. He raised his family and worked in Baltimore before retiring to Cochran in 1994. He was a member of Limestone Baptist Church.

He was the youngest child of the late Edd and Charlotta Young Carter and was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Barbara Lee Carter, his children, Robin Jeanette and Raymond Carl Carter and his 7 siblings.

Survivors are his sons, Edward T. "Ted" Jr. (Laurie) Carter of Telico Plains, TN and Kenneth (Kim) Carter of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Edward T. III, (Jeorgeanne) Carter of Bonaire, GA, Samuel Wayne (Jenna) Carter of Grand Forks, ND, Kenneth E. Carter, Jr, Thomas J. Carter and Emily R. Carter all of Baltimore, MD; great grandchildren; Regan Carter, Corbin Carter, Everleigh Carter and Reese Carter.

The family will greet friends after the service, Saturday, in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
