Cochran - Elizabeth Susan "Betty" Davis Tapley, age 82, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in Evergreen Baptist Church. The family will greet friends after the committal service Monday at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery.

Betty, born October 18, 1943 at Eglin Field, Florida, was the daughter of the late Charles Watson and Florence Osborn Davis and was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Kris Daniel. She was reared in Florida and moved to Lyons, Georgia in 1958. Betty graduated from Lyons High School and attended Georgia Southern College. She lived and worked in Macon for 40 years before retiring to Cochran in 2003. Betty was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Gene Tapley of Cochran; her children, Greg (Fran) Tapley of Forsyth and Erin (Chris) Burch of Hawkinsville; her son-in-law, Casey Daniel of Macon; her grandchildren, Gibson Daniel and Bryce Daniel of Macon, Pierce Tapley of Forsyth, Carl Burch and Daivs Burch of Hawkinsville; her sister, Carol (John) Mosley of Lyons.
