Cochran – Elizabeth M. McKenzie, age 87, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.

Mrs. McKenzie, born December 21, 1931, in Dodge County, was the daughter of the late Jim Frank, Sr. and Lillie Mae Hodge West. She was preceded in death by her sons, Donnie McKenzie and Sammy Williams. She was retired from Jac-Arts Label Factory.

Survivors are her daughter and caregiver, Carol S. (Tim) Hinson and daughter, Sandra (Stacey) Simmons both of Cochran; her son Jimmy McKenzie of Garden City; granddaughters, April Simmons of Cochran and Elizabeth (Bradley) Benjamin of Conway, SC; great grandchildren, Bradley Benjamin, Gabriel Benjamin, Makayla Benjamin, Vincent Ready and Stephen Ready; sister, Joann (George) Bailey of Farmingdale, NY; brother, Jerry Sapp of Cochran; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is at 140 Southside Dr. and will greet friends one hour before the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
