Chester – Ella Mae "Diner" Peacock, age 86, died Friday, August 14, 2020 in Serenity Place in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 17, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Roe officiating. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Peacock had lived most of her life in Chester and Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Hoke and Mattie Lou Cannon Hinson and the wife of the late Guyton H. Peacock. She was retired from L&H Shirt Factory and a homemaker.

Survivors are her children, Joanne Brownlee of Cochran,  Brenda Peacock of Chester and David (Wanda) Peacock of Dublin; grandchildren, Colby (Tyler) Garrison and Alana (Blake) Garrison of Macon, Shawn (Elizabeth) Peacock of Eastman and Samantha (Michael) Del Giudice of Long Island, NY; five great grandchildren; her sisters, Mary (Willie Earl) Hart, Margie Briley and Marie Fields of Dublin, Irene Foster of Eastman, and Mattie (David Burns) Harrell of Chester; her brother, Ray Hinson of Dublin; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
