Cochran - Emma Jean Nobles Lovato, age 88, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Bleckley Memorial Hospital. A memorial service to honor Jean's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Danville.

She was born on March 26, 1936, in Bleckley County, Georgia, and lived a full and vibrant life filled with love, family, and cherished experiences.

Jean dedicated much of her professional life to Colorado Interstate Gas Company before retiring. Beyond her career, she had a passion for creativity and adventure. She was an expert seamstress whose skill and artistry brought joy to many. She also loved traveling, dancing, and karaoke—activities that reflected her lively spirit. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Lovato; her parents, Eugene Willis Nobles Sr. and Mamie Lee Heath Nobles; and her siblings Rubert Eugene Nobles Sr., Jacob T. Nobles Sr., Marie Booth Abney, James Willis Nobles, and William F. Nobles.

Jean is survived by her sister, Mary C. Nobles of Centerville; her brother, Harold L. Nobles of Columbia, South Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry forward her memory with love.

The family would like to thank Dennis and Darlene Nobles for being faithful friends, great neighbors and who were always willing to help Jean.

Jean's warmth and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her.
