Hawkinsville – Emory Lee Williams, age 67, died Thursday, May 7, 2020, at his home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Born in Hawkinsville, Emory had lived most of his life in Pulaski County. He was the son of the late Lorin Shipp and Evelyn Shurley Williams and was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Williams. He was a graduate from Fullington Academy and was retired from the Dooly County Sheriff's Office where he worked as a jailer. Emory loved to cut grass and play golf. He was a Methodist.

Survivors are his brother, Curtis (Grace) Williams of Cochran; his sister Alice (Terrell) Hudson of Unadilla and several nieces and nephews.
