Cochran – Eric Dewayne Scarborough, age 52, died Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Mr. Scarborough, born in Gainesville, FL, had lived in Newnan before moving to Cochran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Thompson Scarborough and his daughter Piper LeAnn Scarborough. He was a handy man and mechanic. Eric was a 1987 graduate of Bleckley County High School.

Survivors are his daughter, Shonna (Kenneth) Holmes of Kathleen; his father, Bob Scarborough of Cochran; his brother, Keith Scarborough of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, Zackery Holmes, Angelina Holmes and Gabby Holmes all of Kathleen; his fiancee', Brandy Cook of Kathleen; his aunt, Mary Ann Scarborough of Atlanta; his uncle, John Scarborough of Cochran.

The family will greet friends after the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
