Mrs. Eunice Cravey Nobles entered her heavenly home on January 27, 2026, at Dublin Square Assisted Living, at the age of 88. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, in the Chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Reverend Jay Moore will officiate the ceremony. The family will greet friends following the service. A private burial will take place at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Born on October 9, 1937, in Wheeler County, Georgia, Eunice was the daughter of Clarence Rufus "C.R." Cravey and Addie Rachel Bass Cravey. She graduated from Wheeler County High School in 1955 and went on to attend Georgia Teacher's College (now Georgia Southern State University) in Statesboro, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1959.

Eunice dedicated her professional life to education, teaching in both public and private schools and serving as a school librarian. Her passion for learning extended into later life when she pursued further education at Mercer University, earning a Master's Degree in Gerontology.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Lennie Eugene Nobles; her parents; her brother, Clarence Eugene Cravey; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy L. Cravey.

Eunice is lovingly remembered by her niece, Agena Michele Dyal (Robert) of Cochran; great-nieces Mallory Veal (John Andrew) and Emily Hauesler (Dakota), both of Bonaire; nephew Brannen Lanier Cravey (Melanie) of Cochran; great-nephew Braegan Cravey of Cochran; and great-great-niece Ruby Veal of Bonaire.

A devoted member of Limestone Baptist Church for many years, Eunice found strength and community through her faith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Eunice Nobles' name to Limestone Baptist Church or the Baptist Children's Home in Baxley, Georgia.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of At Home Senior Living, Dublin Square Assisted Living, and Georgia Hospice Care for their compassionate care. Special thanks are also given to Reverend Jay Moore for his faithful visits with Eunice.
