Roddy – Felton L. "Skeeter" Kirkpatrick, age 83, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in the Dodge County Hospital in Eastman. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. in Bowers Cemetery in Empire.

Skeeter was born and had lived most of his life in Roddy. He was the son of the late Lewis Madison and Nora Passmore Kirkpatrick and was preceded in death by his son Douglas Kirkpatrick, his brother, Obie Kirkpatrick, his sister, Patricia Kirkpatrick Sears and his grandson, Taylor Kirkpatrick. He was retired from the Georgia National Guard and a 1958 graduate of Dodge County High School. Skeeter attended Roddy Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Martha Kirkpatrick of Roddy, his children, Dana (Brenda) Kirkpatrick of Cochran, Tonya (Keith) Pittman of Chester and Lori Kirkpatrick of Eastman; step-children, Gabby (Robert) Quintanill of Cochran and Troy C. (Louann) Owen of Irwin County; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family is at 272 Old Eastman Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Thursday at Bowers Cemetery.
