Cochran – Freida Manning Kersey, age 88, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in Bryant Nursing Center. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Kersey, born in Jones County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Nolan and Nannie Kitchens. She was the wife of the late William Arelius Manning, Sr. and Henry Kersey and was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Kitchens. She was a former employee at L&H Shirt Factory and Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, William (Marcia) Manning, Jerry (JoAnn) Manning, Curtis (Jenny Sue) Manning and Pam Manning (Dave) McElligott of Cochran; Tony (Jewell) Manning of Helen; grandchildren, Matt Manning, Carli Collins, Jon Manning, Jill (Jeff) Flowers of Cochran, Colby (Bailey) Bryant of Chauncey and Sean (Kristyn) McElligott of Chicago,IL; great grandchildren, Drake McNair and Megan McNair of Cochran, Bo Bryant and Samuel Bryant of Chauncey.

The family is at 312 Allen Ranch Road, Cochran and will greet friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
