Cochran – Fulton Elijah Smith, died Sunday, March 13, 2022, at his residence surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Fulton was born in Bleckley County and was the son of the late Elijah and Bertha Mullis Smith. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Smith Knight, his great-grandson, Luke Wilson and by his siblings, Guyton, James, Lucy, Nell, Monteen, Effie, Gladys and Monroe. Mr. Fulton served in the United States Army and was retired from Bassett Furniture. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a former deacon. Mr. Fulton was loved and adored by his family. He was a proud Pop & Papa.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Smith of Cochran; his children, Tim (Kay) Smith of Empire, Shannon (Dana) Causby of Kennesaw, Brandi (Allon) Jones of Cochran and Brandon (Nikki) Lytle of Warner Robins; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The Family is at 244 Frank Cook Rd and will greet friends following the service, Wednesday at Bethany Baptist Church.
