Cochran – Gail Yawn Skipper, age 72, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Skipper, born in Dodge County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Roger and Carolyn Pruett Yawn and was preceded in death by her husband, Holland "Skip" Skipper and her brother, Eric Yawn. Gail was retired from Lithonia Lighting Company.

Survivors are her son, Jeffery (Chris) Skipper of Cochran; her grandsons, Austin, Ethan and Weston Skipper all of Cochran; her sister, Rita Voll of Callahan, FL; her brothers, Rocky Yawn of Milan and Joey Yawn of Chauncey; her sister-in-law, Estelle Skipper Hinson of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 142 S. 8th St., Cochran and will greet friends after the service Sunday at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
