Cochran – Gale K. Darsey, age 65, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cary. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Gale, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Emmett G. and Imogene Barlow Kitchens. Gale was a homemaker and a 1975 graduate of Cochran High School. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. Gale loved her family and lived her faith.

Survivors are her husband, Donald Darsey of Cochran; her children, Jess (Teresa) Darsey and Jared (Kayla) Darsey all of Cochran; her grandchildren, Carter Darsey, Caleb Darsey, C.J. Darsey and Lillie Kay Darsey all of Cochran; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 134 Abney Rd., Cochran, GA 31014.

The family is at 1026 GA Highway 112, Cochran and will greet friends Saturday at Mt. Calvary Church Cemetery, after the committal.
